Charming and Talented RACHNA KHANNA shines in PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI

RACHNA KHANNA, an upcoming actress will soon be seen on the silver screen in her forthcoming movie “PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI” Blessed with natural beauty, attractiveness and multifaceted talent,Rachna has a dynamic and versatile personality and has dabbled in various forms of art, drama,TV and now cinema.

While completing  her education from SNDT University, she realised her innate talent for acting and wanted to step into the glamorous Bollywood world.  Her journey, though Baby-steps so far has been enriching, evocative and colourfully progressive. She attributes her success to blessings of her chosen deity-‘Shri Krishna’ and her hard work, sincerity and commitment. She has acted in many serials and commercials. Just to name few- KRISHNAA BEN KHAAKRA WALA, AKBAR-BIRBAL, HAPPY HOME  ETC.

And now she is exited for her vibrant and lively Punjabi character In her upcoming movie “PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI’ due for release this September, she essays the role of a typical  Punjabi woman. The character is colourful vibrant and appealing. In her maiden appearance in a bollywood film, Rachna is excited and mightily thrilled for what she considers as a real Big Break. It is but natural to think that way as she shall be sharing the screen with great living legends  in acting such as Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Prem Chopra, Divya Seth, Vir Das and other known celebrities of Bollywood.

She has profuse praise for Mr. Sanjay Chhel – well known and successful Bollywood director- for the opportunity of working with him. In her own words, “I have  gained valuable learning experience as the director gives full scope to harness my capability and explore the innate talent”.  Rachna is a typical Punjabi from Delhi, and she uses this knowledge about Punjabi ethos and culture to the hilt in the movie. We prodded her to tell us the story and plot of the film. Without fully spilling the beans, She mentioned that the film’s title itself is an obvious  give-away.  Thus it is quite self- explanatory that  this movie be based on a love story of two different cultures- Punjabi & Gujrati. She is also very excited to see her dance performance in a Punjabi song in this movie. Speaking of dance, classical dance is Rachna’s passion and she learnt Kathak dance under the tutelage of Nritya Samragini (dancing queen)Sitara devi. Prior to that, she was initiated into the world of music and dance  from legendary dance king Gopi krishna’s mother Tara devi from whom she learnt Kathak dance.

Rachna confesses that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies have made a deep impact and impression on her and influenced her.

Just before concluding, Rachna confided about her cherished  dream; that Khiladi number 1 – Akhsay Kumar(Akki) is one of her favourite actors and its her dream role to share the silver screen with the celebrity star in the future.  God ( and Akki) willing,  we wish that her dreams are fulfilled sooner than later.

The teaser and promo of the movie “PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI” releasing on 15 September 2017… is already live and online and has already generated considerable curiosity and interest going by the likes in viral social media.
